Children of Joy! is a successful and well-respected ministry of theSpirit of Joy! Lutheran Church. There is an intentionally Christian focus, as most of the children in the school are not members of Spirit of Joy!. We offer a Christian, play based developmental program. Our curriculum is literature based and enrichment activities include weekly chapel, music and motor classes. We minister to a maximum enrollment of 120 children from our community. Children of Joy! currently employs 26 teachers, co-teachers, and teacher assistants. Many have been here for more than five years. Most have college degrees and/or Child Development Associate Certificates. All are loving and caring. Each staff member receives a minimum of 24 continuing education hours per year and all hold valid CPR and First Aid certificates. Our staff truly believes in the team approach when working with children and believes that parent communication is essential.
